2024—A Year of Insane Growth and Milestones

Hey Friends,

2024 has been a wild year, and I’ve never experienced so much growth in such a short time—it’s been life-changing both personally and professionally.

On the personal side, I became a dad (huge milestone!) and we’re building a new home, which has been an exciting adventure.

Professionally, things have been incredible.

We relaunched Aligner Blueprint, launched Aligner Advantage (our group offer for multi-location practices), and attended the acquisition.com workshop with the Hormozis—an absolute game-changer.

We also put on our first in-person event, the Clear Aligner Confidence Bootcamp—a life-changing experience for everyone involved.

Here is what Dr. Nichole had to say about the bootcamp 👇🏽

After seeing the impact this 2 Day in person event had on the 10 docs in the room...

I decided that I am going to do it again!

The venue only allows for 10 docs.

At the time i'm writing this 3/10 spots are gone - so only 7 are left.

We are doing early bird pricing until the end of the year (it will probably be filled by then)

If you are available Feb 28 - Mar 1 and have been waiting to get the confidence to start aligners and are also looking to make some new dentist friends... join us in Austin! 🤠

And the final piece of the 2024 update... we expanded our team and now have over 190 docs in our online program!

This year has shown me that when you commit to leveling up, incredible things happen.

The growth is real, and it’s only the beginning.

Cheers to you and your growth as well!

I’m able to generate $842 per hour of chair time with clear aligners, and in this video, I’ll show you how offering aligners profitably is not only possible—it’s easier than you think.

It wasn’t always like this.

When I first started, I was fumbling through countless appointments, trying to balance patient monitoring with avoiding over scheduling.

After spending hours and trying everything, I figured out the perfect scheduling system that optimizes patient visits and maximizes profitability with aligners.

Check it out in the video above!

Straight Talk

Clear aligners aren’t profitable if you’re wasting chair time.

The solution? Efficiency.

Focus on predictable 6-8 month cases and refer the complex ones.

Use hygiene for same-day starts by having your hygienist introduce aligners during routine visits.

Offer flexible financing, delegate attachments to your assistant, and stick to a structured schedule—patients should only be in the chair once mid-treatment.

With these strategies, you’ll cut chair time in half, streamline your workflow, and turn aligners into a highly profitable part of your practice.

Your team will thank you, and your patients will love the experience.

What’s your go-to strategy for making aligners work?

Your Friend,

Dr. Avi

Dave Gaspar didn't grow up wanting to run a DSO. He grew up in Arizona wanting to be a baseball broadcaster. Listened to Vin Scully every night. Got a communications degree. Worked in radio. Left when he realized small towns and small paychecks weren't the plan. He ended up in veterinary practice management. Then dentistry. And somewhere in between, a few doctors took him into the back of their practices and showed him what the job actually looked like from inside an operatory. That stuck. ow...

I have had this conversation more times than I can count. A doctor reaches out. They joined a DSO two years ago. They were told they would have clinical autonomy, a supportive team, and real income growth. They were told the organization cared about doctors. Then the first major business decision came down the line. And the doctor was not in the room. This is the most common friction point I hear. Not because DSOs are inherently bad. But because there is a gap between what gets promised...

There is a moment that happens in almost every aligner case. The patient leaves your office motivated. They have their trays. They know the rules. Twenty-two hours a day. Remove to eat. Clean before reinserting. And then real life happens. They grab lunch at their desk. They do not have a toothbrush. So they rinse with water, put the tray back in, and keep going. Happens at dinner. Happens at happy hour. Happens every single day for the length of their treatment. You already know what that...
