Your time is expensive

Hey Friends,

Your time is expensive.

Are you wasting it?

If you're anything like me - you probably are.

Look nobody is perfect and that's ok.

Whenever I had time between patients I was usually finding a way to scroll on my phone trying to get a quick dopamine hit.

Or maybe I was escaping from the chaos of the practice?

Regardless - it wasn't the best use of my time.

I had to actually TAKE TIME to MAKE TIME.

I made time by being more EFFICIENT.

Check out the video I made to see how I was able to earn $842/hour in chair time with aligners.

See ya in there!

Video of the Week

I’m able to generate $842 per hour of chair time with clear aligners, and in this video, I’ll show you how offering aligners profitably is not only possible—it’s easier than you think.

It wasn’t always like this. When I first started, I was fumbling through countless appointments, trying to balance patient monitoring with avoiding overscheduling. After spending thousands of hours and trying everything, I figured out the perfect scheduling system that optimizes patient visits and maximizes profitability with aligners.

Straight Talk

Clear aligners are a powerful tool, but they’re not a one-size-fits-all solution. The success of your treatments hinges on selecting the right cases from the start.

This isn’t just important—it’s everything.

Imagine this: You’re eager to get started, and a patient comes in with a complex case. You dive in, only to realize halfway through that clear aligners aren’t the best fit for their needs.

Now you’re stuck, and so is your patient. That’s a situation you can avoid by honing your case selection skills.

Start by focusing on patients with mild to moderate crowding or spacing issues. These are the cases where clear aligners truly shine.

They’re straightforward, predictable, and give you the perfect opportunity to build confidence and experience.

Think of case selection as your foundation. Get it right, and the rest of the process flows smoothly.

Get it wrong, and you could be setting yourself up for frustration—both for you and your patient.

Clear aligners require precision and a deep understanding of the patient’s specific needs. By carefully selecting cases that align with what clear aligners are designed to do, you’re setting yourself up for predictable, successful outcomes.

Remember, it’s better to walk before you run. Start with cases that play to the strengths of clear aligners.

As you gain experience and confidence, you’ll be ready to tackle more complex situations with ease.

So, if you’re serious about making clear aligners a core part of your practice, start with smart case selection.

It’s the first step to delivering exceptional results and building a reputation as a clear aligner expert.

When I first started teaching aligners, a lot of people asked me the same question... “Which brand do you use?” They wanted me to say one name. Invisalign. SureSmile. ClearCorrect. OrthoSnap. CandidPro. But the truth is, I do not care about the brand. What matters is the doctor. What matters is the patient. And what matters most is that the case gets started. Most dentists get stuck obsessing over which aligner company is better. They spend months debating marketing claims, lab fees, and...

Most dentists get stuck in idea overload. They write down every thought, attend CE courses, and collect pages of notes. But nothing actually changes in the practice. I know because I used to do the same thing. I would fill notebooks with “good ideas” and then let them sit. It felt exciting at first, but eventually it became overwhelming. What I learned is simple: ideas only matter if you execute on them. Here are 3 rules that helped me shift from hoarding ideas to creating results: 1. One...

I used to watch minor cracks and crowding “just to be safe.” I thought waiting meant I was being conservative. One patient came back six months later with a cracked molar. She asked me, “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” That question stung. I realized “waiting” wasn’t protecting my patients — it was protecting my own fears. If you’re stuck, try this instead: Diagnose what you see clearly and early Explain risks of delaying treatment in simple language Give patients all the info so they can...
