Hope you had a great week!
This week I went to the American Academy of Clear Aligners convention this week in Vegas. It was really cool to be around fellow dentists who value aligners and were seeking out education around it.
I also got to connect with a bunch of dentists from all around the country and share my story while hearing about theres.
This week showed me how important COMMUNITY and CONNECTION is in our field. We are all for the most part "alone" in our practices. This weighs on us and is a big reason why dentists suffer from mental health issues.
If you feel alone - reach out and connect. Use social media as an entry point to connection. If this is something you don't want to do then sign up for a conference or convention and meet people in person!
If you want to meet up at a convention - I am going to be speaking at Dentistry's Got Talent in New Orleans. It is a dental convention and if it is something you want to go to and connect at - check it out here (use code: PATEL for 10% off)
I waited too long in my career to start going to conventions. These are great places to meet even just 1 person who you may have a lot in common with and can start to call a friend!
So before the convention I was working in the office this week and saw my friend who is in aligner therapy with me. I did a trial case with ClearCorrect and she is progressing nicely. The case is a simple relapse crowding case. I will share the results with you all once she is done with treatment.
I will say setting up the case was not too bad - however getting the trays took awhile. They also do a 2 part shipping method so I had to wait for all of her trays to come in. Not sure why ClearCorrect does that since I give my patients all the trays at the beginning.
Anyways - if you have any questions about anything feel free to respond to this email and I am happy to answer any questions!
Most of you reading this newsletter are doing so because you found me and my content through some type of social media platform. Let this be an example to you how powerful social media really is...
That being said - use this marketing tip for social media in your practice!
Partner with local social media influencers who have a significant following and a relevant audience to promote your clear aligner services. Influencers can create engaging content showcasing their aligner journey or featuring testimonials from satisfied patients. This strategy helps increase brand visibility, build trust, and attract potential patients interested in clear aligner treatment.
Here's how you can implement this tip tomorrow:
Partnering with social media influencers allows you to tap into their established audience and credibility. Their authentic experiences and endorsements can significantly increase awareness and interest in your clear aligner services, attracting new patients to your dental practice.
